New Passport rule-Aadhar can now be used as date of birth proof

The authorities on Friday introduced that Aadhaar and e-Aadhaar card could be used as evidence of date of birth (DOB) while applying for passports.In case of evidence of DOB, even as filing the software, it has now been determined that each one candidates of passports can publish any one of the files — switch/college leaving/matriculation certificates, PAN card, Aadhaar card/e-Aadhaar having the DOB of applicant, replica of the extract of the provider file of the applicant, riding licence, Election photo identity Card (EPIC) or LIC policy bond.
